I offer handcrafted, one-of-a-kind jewelry and rosaries; custom work is also offered. I design and create each item using sterling silver, solid bronze, copper or pewter, precious and semi-precious stones, and recast antique crucifixes, centers and medals.
I am a graphic designer by formal education, but have always had a passionate need for "making things" with my hands.
My shop is named in honor of my maternal great-grandmother, Kitty Severance Dumont, who died in a hotel fire in Galveston, Texas, in 1914. Her four year old daughter survived and was adopted by her grandparents. Her father never remarried, thus the Dumont name ended. The stories are that she was a redhead with a huge passion for life, so I wanted to memorialize her name.
